You will never see a code requirement for a gfci receptacle you can satisfy all code requirements with gfci breaker combo devices or plain gfci deadfront devices. Some will need to say gfci protected no equipment ground i know a new gfci receptacle will have a few in the box but i need a bunch of them. It is unconscionable that they are not included.
