Capping Off An Electrical Outlet

We are trying to remove an electrical outlet.

Capping off an electrical outlet. We re thinking about doing some sort of open shelving or wine rack in it s place so no longer need an outlet there. I recently removed a kitchen cabinet that was holding my microwave so there was an outlet behind the cabinet.
